The whole 'multiple scout' thing was ridiculous to him. A waste of time and resources, when WindClan could hardly support their own hunting patrols. Even with the risk of predators, Foxpudge would rather lose one cat than multiple on a mission that might not even be fruitful to begin with.

He genuinely liked the idea of checking out the outskirts, but without being held back by others. Without sending cats out-- like Twilightstar -- the Clan needed.. he had to hold back a sigh.

At least.. they maybe had Brightsky. She hadn't been around in some time, and he was kind of concerned for not only her, but the Clan. A lack of patrols in Twilightstar's absence would do no one good. "If that's what you want to do, then I won't argue." He felt drained from this meeting already, unenchanted with the probability of failure. Maybe Twilightstar going would improve the chances, he just.. wished it felt more productive.

"Are you sending out more patrols while Brightsky.. isn't accounted for?" He thought he glimpsed her near the beginning of the meeting, but she'd been out of sight since-- maybe the crowd buried her. "Before you leave."

Ohhhhh-kay, apparently that guy didn't want to talk to him! Leopardflare could deduce that much, but he swore there was some reason he'd chosen Coldsong other than his loudmouth. It was as if the universe itself had inclined him toward that tom, drew his attention to Coldsong by some otherworldly system that was beyond Leopardflare's understanding. It was as if he'd been indirectly summoned.
Well! He'd find somebody else. Leaning over, he noticed Foxpudge. "Heyyy," he half-whined, prodding lightly. "Hey buddy. What's going on anyway? The loudboy won't say anything to me." It was a little pouty, he didn't like being ignored.
