"Yeah, I.. I was at your warrior ceremony," Fawnsqueak replied, beaming faintly. With a little luck, Eagleflower hadn't witnessed his... what an atrocity that had been. But when he recalled the aftermath of Eagleflower's warrior ceremony, his smile drooped somewhat, and he gave an uncomfortable cough. "I guess both of our warrior ceremonies were kind of..." He trailed off there, finding it darkly humorous that they could share each other's experience in that regard. Not many warriors cringed at their ceremony day when they looked back on it.

Fawnsqueak was genuinely surprised when... when Eagleflower agreed! A good portion of his plans were a spew of apologies for when Eagleflower inevitably told him to go fall off the Streamstone because of course he wouldn't go on a date with him. But he'd actually agreed and that had Fawnsqueak bursting into an elated, giddy laugh because it was just so unimaginable. And he was beyond grateful. "You know, if you need a break from me and my, uh, attempt at social skills, just let me know and we can come back?" he offered, wanting to give him an out in the event that Eagleflower had his fill of him. Turning his attention to the camp exit with an inviting head tilt, he said, "Oh hey, we should probably get going-- I have an idea of somewhere we can check out but it's a bit of a walk."
