RiverClan Announcement [#liontalks]

With the arrival of Fawnsqueak, Lionstar gave Sootflare a cheeky little grin before he beckoned them to follow him out of camp. The Clan didn't need to know his plans, not yet..

"Fawn, you're already aware of what I want to do, but for the sake of the rest of you I'll debrief you.

"WindClan is screwed, royally so.. they have no territory, very few cats, and to be blunt some of them have resorted to cannibalism to survive. Which is why I'm sending you four to give them a paw.

"You'll be hunting for them during the day, help bolster their ranks briefly so they aren't spread as thin on their patrols. I don't want you on border patrols, solely hunting-- I don't really want their territory to be stunk up by our scent, and I don't want the other Clans to know we're helping them. This is to get them back on their paws, not to put a target on their backs because the other Clans feel like being assholes.

"Fawn, I'm putting you in charge of this so I know it gets done. Shimmeringpaw, Wormpaw-- think of this as your final assessment. I know you both are close to finishing your training and if you're actively involved in this task, I'll make you two warriors. Sootfather, you've already been snared in this before-- why not keep you in it?

"When it begins to get dark, I want you guys to head back here. If we can avoid it, I want all prey to be WindClan's... so eat your fill while you're here. When dawn starts coming, head back to WindClan. Fawn, keep me posted on the situation so we can make adjustments as necessary.

"Any questions?"
