Sootflare sat towards the edge of the camp, thankful to have a bit of respite before they headed out in to the territory once more. His paws ached something fierce and he was beyond exhausted. Hopefully this would all be worth it in the end - bring WindClan far enough back from the brink for them to get through leaf-bare. Why Lionstar has decided on such a selfless, diplomatic mission was still a mystery to the tom. Whenever he pondered the issue, he found a haze over his brain. It was hard to think about anything other than all the places he hurt. The cold was bitter and all he wanted was a long night’s rest back in his own nest.
