[Doom]

Quailkit squeaked in horror as Minksong began grooming her mane, "No, mom!!! Warriors don't wake up to groom, we wake up to HUNT!" She squirmed out of her mother's paws, lost her footing, then fell flat on her face.

Unfazed, Quailkit shot straight back up on her paws and puffed her chest out, "I'm okay!" She turned to face her siblings and flashed a smile. "Come on, Jaykit! You gotta come see the sunrise with us!" She giggled, bouncing circled around her father with her sister Frogkit.

Though the moment her eyes caught that huge plum looking mouse by her father's paws, she stopped in her tracks and gasped. "Marshgorse...what. Is. That!!!!?" She pointed her tail at the ugly looking thing, green eyes glittering with interest as she sniffed and pawed playfully at it.
