Linnetwing let go of her frustration as she watched the tom climb up the tree. She was impressed by this. She had never really learned to climb tree's so she would never have done it herself. "That was a nice kill. Where did you learn to climb?", she wondered. Linnetwing was going to let loose for a little while.

Bouncesnarl nodded and followed him. He just so happened to love surprises. He hadn't gotten one in such a long time. His father was the last one who did. "This is one steep hill.", he meowed in his high voice. Bouncesnarl ignored the incline and just went along with it.

The steel coloured male looked down from his place on the branch, dropping the squirrel to the ground and going to leap down, his heavy paws thudding against the earth, "When I was an apprentice, I wanted to be the best at something." He chuckled in reminiscence, "So I practised climbing trees incessantly. " He bowed his head, going to grasp his kill once more.

Finally, after all the work and the dew-covered paws, the duo got to the peak of the hill. As they settled a top it, the copper coloured tabby grinned at the other before nodding his head towards the hills in the far east. "Tada!" On the horizon, the sun was just beginning to rise, creating a gentle roseying of the sky. His chest rolled in a purr as he moved to sit, rocking from side to side.
