The red tomcat’s heart skipped a beat, and the entirety of his muscles tensed up. His folded, tiny ears fell flat on his skull, and his gentle eyes finally found the hardihood they required to glimpse at the tricolor tom, although sadly not for a significant amount of time, as they fell on the ground right after. He released a quiet breath that he didn’t realized he had been keeping in, and backed up from the fellow figure. Again, he didn’t want to make it weird, but how the hell was he supposed to react to that? Thank him and reciprocate? That’s pure madness!
“Don’t say things if you don’t mean ‘em..” he murmured.
“Listen, Koi,” Newt continued, attempting to at least not remain silent. “I-I.. appreciate your concern, if that’s what you wanna call it, but..” he trailed off. What was he supposed to say? That he was uncomfortable and wanted him to back off? But was did really? He certainly didn’t want people to see them, and after all he had just met this dude seconds ago. He didn’t want people to see him as.. Y’know, this dude that hung out with fellow dudes. People didn’t like that. He got solid proof of that statement in his own mother. So what was he supposed to do? What did people expect from him?
“Do.. do you, Y’know, like.. guys?” he blurted out automatically, practically without second thoughts. Yet again, he cringed at his own words. He truly didn’t think this through. “You don’t have to answer, it’s a stupid question.”

Oh Starclan I'm not helping at all. Koistream swallowed back another awkward comment, he had the awful habit of waffling on whenever anixous about a situation himself, it always made him dig his hole deeper.
He bared his fangs in a toothy grin, trying to play it cool but it was hard when he caused such a reaction from another cat. Flipping loners, man. They are weird. Koistream shoved that thought process away, Newtheart was a loner anymore! He's a warrior cat for as long as the Tom remained in their clan! Koistream would embrace that, he had to.
"Lovely Newtheart, I don't think a lie has ever come out of my mouth! Apart from a time I told a Molly her flank didn't look that big in the collar she was wearing," The toothy grin got wider at his own joke, he was such a easy cat.
Did he like boys? Great Starclan, Koi liked anyone that bothered to give him the time of day! "Do you like boys, Newtheart?" He asked with a silky, sweet purr that rolled from him easily. "I like everyone and anyone who catches my eye," He gave a wink, "I must admit, you might have done so... but I can always back off if you'd like? My flirting isnt for everyone."
