although she certainly didn't cut a formidable figure, you would've been a fool to mess with her; starlingkit was good at showing that she was not to be messed with. in the meantime, however, she was more than happy to wait for someone friendly to show up and hopefully give her a good time.

Ravenkit padded into the Nursery with heavy feet, his trail dragging along the ground. His entire posture was perpetually tired, even if he slept most of the day and sunbathed the remaining part of the day. He could barely be called a kit anymore, as the days until his apprenticeship became smaller, he grew to look more and more like a grown cat. The fluffy kit was only a little smaller than the typical apprentice. He didn't play often like the other kits, so he looked plumper than those his age, closer to a pampered house cat than a fearsome warrior kitten.
With the goal of settling down in his favourite napping spot of the Nursery, he traversed through the groupings of kits and their mothers, only to discover his oh-so-beloved spot was already occupied. He huffed with annoyance, prodding the spot-stealing kit's flank. "'That's my spot."
