Birdchatter reached over to steal the pebble back from Cloudburst, sliding it back under his paw to keep it concealed.
Leaning over to Rainywhisker, he psst in his ear softly, not loud enough for Duskstar to hear. "Pass it on." And he slid the tiny pebble toward the other tom, encouraging him to take it and pass it to the next available cat.
