Sagedust purred and bumped him with her hip lightly, “good! I better not hear of you flattering anyone but me.” A laugh rumbled in her chest as Flintfreckle agreed to her little game and Sagedust looked happily around them at the beauty of their territory. To be surrounded by wonderful nature and walking beside the tom she loved, whom she just told of their kits, created a bubble of warmth and gratitude around her. The molly nodded and purred, “they will be wonderful.” She peaceful gazed around them at the beautiful night and purred again, “I know that everything will be alright. Their announcement comes on a wonderful night and the peace of nature will love them as we do.” Many cats that Sagedust had come across in her life had thought her odd for her statements and beliefs about earth, but Sagedust was gifted with an unerring peace and those who judged her were never able to pierce the bubble of love that encompassed her every day.

He flicked her ear tip with his tail, a laughing purr rumbling deep in his throat. ”I wouldn’t dare.” He promised, but behind his laugh he actually meant it. He looked around the territory and breathed in a deep breath of its piney scent, warmth bubbling in him. When she spoke, he nodded in agreement. “They will be perfect.” He agreed. Though her sayings had taken sometime to get used to when they first met, he now understood the truth they held and welcomed it. He shook his black and white pelt as a cool breeze flew through it and breathed in the air. “Tonight is really beautiful.” He breathed, looking up at the stars, wondering if his ancestors were looking down on him as he looked up to them.
