Heathernose has needed some air after the doom and gloom of the meeting. She now wandered peacefully through the grass and heather, breathing the lovely scents of budding flowers. The air held a bit of a frosty chill, but she didn’t mind and merely fluffed up her tortoiseshell fur against it. The molly sighed as she padded through the undergrowth, wishing for some happy news to come to her. She was so sick of being hungry and sad. Her clan needed happiness. She needed happiness. Heathernose could feel herself becoming more forlorn each day and she definitely didn’t want to head down that path. All the warrior needed was some color to shine through again. Trying to perk herself up, Heathernose told herself that green-leaf would be here soon and that would bring flowers and sunny days and breezes and hares. Everything good came in green-leaf. She just had to stick it out.
Fresh cat scent pulled Heathernose out of her thoughts and she recognized the scent of her clan mate, Tigersnap. The last thing she wanted was to interrupt another cat’s walk or hunt, so Heathernose turned quietly to go.
