A little laugh bubbles off her lips, and as they walk on, she seems to get more comfortable with the tom. Soon, they stop. "Well... Back when we were battling the coyotes, Batglare was on, like, a suicide mission! He was fighting them all by himself until I jumped in- But I got thrown off..." Looking down, she almost seems to shrink. "I didn't want to say anything, because you've been so busy... But my back paw, this one-" She suddenly sticks her hind leg further out to show him, "-really hurts to be on. And... Well, I got a bad headache when I was thrown! And my eyes got silly blurry, and I took a nap, and sometimes, only sometimes, they get a little blurry again!" Elderpaw looks at the tom round-eyed. "Do you know how to fix the blurriness?"

"didn't want to bother me huh?" the toms eyes glistened with amusement as he swept his tail around his paws and let her spin the scene for him. "However busy I may be I should always be available to help. It is my job" the tom mrrowed quietly. "You seem to however hold a kindness for me that few have. Thank you." It was odd... He hadn't met anyone like the small apprentice before. Willing to risk infection and further injury because he was busy. mm. "It is a beautiful name. Have you ever seen an elder tree?" the tom questioned glad to be off his regular type of conversation. He was sick and tired of being asked how he was... it was good to have someone else to talk and keep his mind off things.

"Sounds like you've got a concussion. The only thing I can do for you is prescribe lots of rest. With luck the blurry vision will go away with time I'm sure." he gently examined her hind leg giving his ear a flick. Than he was suddenly interrupted. "How big is it." the tom asked glancing over his shoulder and staring at chickadeepaw briefly.

Whisperheart

Nostrils flared to allow deep breaths. The open plains provided an uninterrupted stream of crisp, cool wind. Scents of budding flowers and greenery carried with the breeze.

Looking out across the plains, Whisperheart squinted her large eyes, focusing on finding soft yellow hues swaying in the wind. The she-cat wiggled her nose and settled under the cover of the tall grass.

She would wait patiently for Coyotesnarl, such a joy as he may be. Despite the short fuse, Whisperheart respected the medicine cat's compassion and dedication to Windclan. The she-warrior parted her mouth slightly, waiting for Coyotesnarl's scent to come to her attention.

The tom trotted up the hill feeling the breath of wind clear his nose for the first time in weeks. His den had grown stuffy and dusty and made his allergies worse. Sleeping at night wasn't all that pleasant anymore. He padded his way through the sweet grass and blooming flowers until the slender shape of Whisperheart crouched there.

"There you are." the toms voice was gruff as he let out a sneeze and shook his head clear of the dizziness. He was quite out of it. "Are you ready?"
