“It won’t take too long. Hopefully.”
The dark tom sighed and looked around, pointing out a distant tree.
“You see that tree over there? That’s the Tree of Murmers. You might have heard a story or two about it as a kit. I personally don’t believe any of it. It’s a good hunting spot though.”
He pointed at a certain direction.
“Over in the distance, is Sunkissed Creek. Sometimes cats go fish for minnows. But quite a few predators lurk over there as well.”
The senior warrior turned towards a more older-looking part of the forest.
“Rogueland Woods. There was a fire some time ago, ya see, and this part was hit the least. The occasional rogue comes along.”
Next, he pointed at a distant cliff.
“And that’s Cliff Pass. You apprentices aren’t supposed to go there. Too dangerous apparently.”
After pointing out all the major points in the territory, he turned back.
“I don’t think I’ll need to show you the borders yet. Well... time for hunting. Follow me.”
