Brindlejaw felt slightly better after his talk with Breezefeather. It was nice to take a break and to get a few things off his chest. Wolfwhisper‘s gaze had wondered to the far side of camp. She twitched her ear and her unreadable gaze flicked over to Brindlejaw. Momentarily surprised when she realized he was talking to her.
Am I looking for someone? Huh? She thought for a moment and quickly realized that her being alone and looking around the camp is probably what caused him to think that. She shook her head at his question.
It’d get awkward fast if I walked up to someone. Hey! I sort of made a joke! And.... no one’s going to know cause I’m talking to myself. In my head. Wow. She was moreover annoyed at herself. Her face went into a more irritated look. She flicked her tail.
