The tabby tom padded back into camp, tail droopy. He had just gotten back from Willowpaw's burial. Spotting his new apprentice, Greenpaw, he padded over. His voice sounded flat, boring, no sort of happiness or anything in it. "Greenpaw... Halfstone's dead." He gave her a moment to think. "I'm your new mentor. We will begin training tomorrow morning."
