Mudpaw padded back into camp, carrying three mice. He trotted over to the prey pile and set them down, then picked up a shrew and walked over to the shelter of some ferns. He dipped his head to the older cat's as he passed them. He settled down underneath the ferns and sank his teeth into the shrew.
