Sudden force assaulted her side and Minnowthorn's eyes flew open. She jerked her head up, teeth already bared in a snarl at the offender, but she quickly relaxed when she realized it was only Sweetpaw and not a serious threat to worry about. A half-awake grumble escaped her jaws and she hauled herself into an upright position.
"Yeah, sure, just give me a moment to wake up," she yawned.

Buckbranch leaned back again. It seemed Coromorantpaw understood the direness of his actions, and therefore there was no reason to continue to scold him. Even so, the tortoiseshell's hackles still stood on end with unease. He wasn't able to get the image of two small, broken bodies hidden amongst the foliage out of his head.
"That's a good idea," he said.
"First thing tomorrow, I'll have you head on over to Lionwhisker for some mouse bile. You'll take care of their ticks, and then after a short break, I'll take you out to gather some moss. How does that sound?"
