She took her own step back. Stars, that smell was awful - but at least it served to ground her some. The elder took a few moments to breathe and when she looked up again, her eyes weren't quite so unfocused.

"Do you think terrible cats deserve to suffer?" she asked, voice rough and raw. It was a sudden question - one that Firehawk could most certainly write off as the delusions of an old and distressed molly if he wanted to. Something in her tone, however, said that a response would be appreciated, even if it didn't mean much.

Well, that was a thinker. Firehawk hummed as he gently moved to bop his head against hers. "I suppose.. it would depend on what they've done. My, I've never been quite a fan of the whole.. revenge, suffering game, but.. if a cat has dedicated their time to harming others, then.."

He gave her a weak shrug and smile, eyes dulling. "There are some awful, dreadful cats in this world. And.. sometimes, just dying won't make a cat realize just how terrible they've been.. I don't like thinking these cats exist, one bit. I've had my fair share of witnessing evil as it were."
