“Alright alright just... come over here and lay down exactly like she is” the tom instructed. She was crushed and he was quite worried about the state of her neck.. her back even. He charged over to deadpool pushing her onto her side since she was already sitting down. “Hold still” The tom gently set a paw on her back feeling up her spine. That was normal.. that was what it was supposed to feel like. Than the tom turned and padded towards the queen sitting beside her. The tom than slowly felt her back. It was rigid and hard to feel but something seemed very wrong. His ears pinned to the side of his head and he lowered his gaze. Was the snake actually strong enough to sever the vertebrae.

“I think it broke her back” the tom admitted to himself tail curling behind him in irritation. She was going to die or live severely disabled for the rest of her life. He wasn’t even sure he could.. fix this.

Confusion makes her slow to fulfill the medicine cat's request. Her ears shift their positions at the mild loss of balance with the push, she catches herself and shifts her weight to lay down as directed. Her hackles raise merely out of discomfort as he feels along her back. It was a very strange feeling that she tolerates. Once Coyotesnarl is finished, she moves to rise back up, however, she finds some difficulties standing with the injured leg. She biting back some hisses of pain, Deadpool manages to stand without placing her left paw on the ground.
"Broke?" Deadpool repeats, limping over to stand a tail length behind the tom as to avoid being in the way. "No fix?" She asked although she could tell from the way he acted that fixing the problem would be problematic if it could be done at all. "Home we take her." Talking hurt, walking hurt, but Deadpool could deal with it if it meant that the could at least Brightflame back to the camp. If she was going to die then she should at least get a chance to talk to her kittens.
