Littlewish grinned as Eaglepaw's usually grim eyes awoke with a spark, happy that he'd made at least one person feel good today. The rest thought him too insignificant to actually be around him at all. Amber gaze flitting with slight amusement, he felt his heart lighten with pride. Perhaps He could actually...do this. Perhaps He could do what he'd been told to do. Be a good mentor? Check. Boost confidence and morale? On its way. He sat back on his haunches, and urged for his apprentice to follow. There were a few things he wanted to go over before they moved into anything else. Clearing his throat dramatically before he started- because it always has to be over the top- he bowed deeply before starting.
"Excellent work, again. But I noticed a few things. One- you know how to fight. And I mean, you know, know how to fight. I don't know who taught you, but keep it up. Two...your nerves were a bit too predictable. If you're just dodging and defending yourself all the time, the opponent could catch on quickly and whip your behind. I need to see some differentiation, and more attacking." He explained, pausing.
