Kitepaw's eyes slowly opened. She didn't want to get up, but, of course, she had to. Usually, she'd get up and ask a fellow kit to play, but she was an apprentice now. She didn't often see the other apprentices, but sometimes, she saw them doing chores. 'Is that it?' she wondered. 'Do apprentices do nothing but go outside and do chores? And what do they do outside? Play?'
She crawled out of the tree she called home. 'Very soon, what apprentices do won't matter. I'm going to be the best at everything so they'll
have to make me a warrior! I'll get to wander freely and sleep in an actual den instead of a tree.' Kitepaw couldn't wait. This was exciting! 'Though,' she realized. 'I won't become the best if I don't start doing what I'm supposed to do. I need to find my mentor...'
Kitepaw then ran up to the fresh-kill pile, looking around in search of her mentor.
(Okay, here comes the most hard part of being an apprentice: getting an actual mentor to rp with. If there's none, I'll just make up a new character.)
