Pouncer studied each part of her den, trying to take away her boredom.

Sigh.

She missed Parrot, and dearly. If she was just a little bit stronger and bigger she could've taken the badgers out.
but, no.
She was a small, weak figure, and because of that, Parrot had died.

I miss you, she said, tipping her head to the sky. There's no one up there, a voice in her head said. there is., said another voice. Pouncer sighed again, thinking she was going crazy.

I probably am.

She buried her face in the kittypet bed that Parrot had stole for her. She could remember that day clearly.



"C'mon, Pouncer!" said Parrot, bouncing up and down. "We're going to get you a better bed!"
"Aww, you don't have to," She replied, looking at the charming tom.

NO.

She was not going to think about that. She needed someone new, Parrot was gone forever.

That was when she heard the voice of another cat.
