But at least, he was walking! and moving forward, despite some obvious difficulties. Stag himself was not a big fan of being out in this clearing and didn't exactly like interacting with other kits. Because last time, he'd been abandoned and left alone despite Oogly telling the other kit multiple times not to abandon him! Yet now Stag had Twiglight... If anyone abandoned him again or said mean stuff... Stag would go to Twiglight. Twiglight was safe... and Twiglight would solve Stag's problems. However, the little limping kit spotted another kit... that looked a bit older than him piling some rocks up. Maybe... this one wouldn't abandon him again? So slowly hobbling over he picked up a small pebble and began rolling it towards the bigger kit. "Hello!" He didn't exactly know how else to start. "I am... Stagkit!" he proclaimed with a small smile. "I can help... build pile too!" He hoped the other kit wouldn't disregard him. Just because he only had three working paws didn't mean he was useless! "Who are... you?"
Cornkit stared speechless at the other kit, his mouth wide open in shock that anyone wanted to approach him. Had Starclan listened to his thoughts about wanting a friend? Shut your mouth you absolute dumb fox. Cornkit shook his head. He was so in awe that there was an actual real kit in front of him he hadn't even noticed Stagkit's lack of mobility. Although he did realize he was staring. You're so unbelievably rude! You'll scare him off! The toxic thoughts were rapid firing through his brain as Cornkit's anxiety rose slowly. He looked to his paws shyly, but moved half of his hefty pile of stones over to Stagkit with a swish of his tail. "I'm- I'm Cornkit." He stuttered out. He dug a shallow line in the dirt. "This is the stream. Let's - Let's make a bridge." He offered. The kit honestly wasn't even sure if Stagkit was even still there, he was staring so intently at the ground. He knew he should make eye contact otherwise Stagkit might think he's was weird but his head felt like a boulder. Gravity was claiming it, and Cornkit was helpless to it's pull. So his paws are where his eyeballs stayed.
