''oo!'' jaypaw gasped, cracking a grin. "No. In fact, very few cats from other clans are mean," Fallenheart informed his apprentice.
"Even if we meet a ThunderClan or a RiverClan patrol, I can bet that they'll be kind. When another clan attacks us, usually, it's not because they want to. Most cats don't like fighting. They're only doing it because their leader told them to." The dark tabby spoke from personal experience. He was a decent fighter, but he tried to avoid it at all costs.
"You'll see when it's time for your first Gathering. It's one of the few times when you can make friends with cats from other clans. Everyone does their best to keep peace, so you won't have to worry about other cats holding grudges."
The warrior smiled widely as Jaypaw proclaimed his hunting skills. Fallenheart was fairly sure that the brown apprentice had never hunted before, but there were tons of kit games that taught them the skills necessary to hunt early.
"We'll see," the tabby replied as he stood up.
"Come," Fallenheart ordered with a flick of his tail. He started heading towards the edge of camp and prepared to check with the camp guards before leaving.
"You can show me your hunting skills in the territory, then we'll head to the border."
