Hollywatcher gave her a warm smile and looked back at the pond. Now, the next step was to actually catch the fish. She unsheathed her claws and narrowed her eyes. “When you see a fish at the surface, dart out your paw with your claws unsheathed and bring it out out of the water, make sure to keep it away from the edge and then bite into it’s neck. I’ll show you.” She swayed her tail, watching the movement in the pond. Then, she saw a black figure of a medium-sized fish swimming at the top of the pond. She quickly darted out her paw and hooked her claws into the fish, quickly pulling it out of the pond. She set the fish down as it flopped around and sunk her teeth into it’s neck until it was dead. She looked at Fernpaw. “Now you try.”
