Right, how could she have forgotten? their original meeting place was a much better place to wait for him-- since it was their original meeting place. Maybe she should consider getting more sleep after all, if that wasn't just an excuse for having forgotten about it. Oh well,
"ri-right! le-et's go th-then" Nightpaw answered before padding of with a small smile, feeling less worried at the thought of the meeting place. If anything, Fallenheart might already be there and looking for them! Fallenheart… yeah, he was Jaypaw's mentor if she remembered correctly; a quick thought that flew threw her mind as they walked.
To no surprise it wasn't long before Nightpaw found herself taking in the sight of their surroundings, specifically the trees, and getting lost in some small thoughts.
"d-do yo-ou thi-think Fa-llenhea-heart m-might al-already be the-ere?" she eventually questioned the other white apprentice. Giving it more thought, it was less likely the warrior would unles having taken a de-tour, but it still was possible nevertheless. But either way, they'd find out soon; the molly recognized the area and knew that they were close- close to where she had buried her mouse atleast, it was on the way.
So once they got in sights reach of the tiny spot, Nightpaw padded ahead to get the piece of prey. She didn't find it right away, to say the least, but eventually she did and that was what mattered. Digging up the lifeless mouse body and carefully picking it up, she padded a few steps back to Frostpaw, still unable to hide that she was very happy with the catch.
Now, all was left was Frostpaw's bird and Fallenheart- hopefully unharmed.
