Reedpaw watched as Cloudfluff flawlessly demonstrated her hunting process. It was on a strand of heather, but nonetheless, the apprentice was impressed. "Wow! That's amazing! I can't wait to try that on a real rabbit. There's no way it could fail!" Reedpaw trotted joyfully as he followed Cloudfluff a bit further out into the moor, noticing she was scenting around for rabbits. Maybe he could be helpful! Reedpaw copied her, opening his mouth to better catch the scents of the moor. It took some time for anything to come... but as a breeze came from the east, Reedpaw's ears perked. Rabbit. He'd scented rabbit before when eating it, so the smell was quite familiar. Turning to Cloudfluff with his eyes widened, he pointed in the direction that the wind came from with a paw. "I scented some rabbits from over there! Let's go, we can do this!" Reedpaw trotted around his mentor excitedly, this would be his first proper hunt!

Cloudfluff smiled when Reedpaw complimented her hunting move. "Thank you." The molly saw his ears pick, then a waft of rabbit scent hit her nose. "Nice job scenting." She whispered, and started to pad towards the scent. "If the scent was carried to you by the breeze, we're downwind." When Cloudfluff saw the rabbits, she chased a few of them away, towards Reedpaw, and leaped onto one of them, killing it with a neat bite. The other rabbits by her fled just before she slammed her paws down. The only rabbits left were the two by Reedpaw. She nodded, and positioned herself in away that if the rabbits ran away, she could probably catch them.
