Twistedpaw instantly struggled out from underneath the lithe gray tom and stared at her mentor in horror. "W-wolftail?" she asked, trembling. She hadn't actually hurt him, right? Scared, she tried to fasten her teeth in his scruff and drag him; however, her jaw contorted. Desperately trembling, she glanced around. There was Rosepaw and Dodgepaw training, right there; she could get help, she had to!
"Help!" she yowled over to them.
Rosepaw stopped fighting with Dodgepaw and turned to see Twistedpaw and her collapsed mentor, Wolftail. Snorting, she padded over to her but didn't get too close. "What happened?" she asked. "Were you so ugly that your mentor collapsed? Or did he feign defeat because you're so pathetic?" She glanced over at Dodgepaw, then turned back to Twistedpaw, trying not to feel so disgusted while looking at the apprentice.
"Well, anyway, there's an injured cat here. Dodgepaw, should we get him to Coyotesnarl?" Then she turned and glared at Twistedpaw. "Don't worry. I'll let him know that it's
your fault."
Twistedpaw's ears flattened against her head.
