Kestrelpaw gasped and stepoed back as the boulder fell, crushing Silentstar only two tail-lengths away. "No," she whispered, tears pricking her amber eyes. Kestrelpaw lifted the herbs in her mouth and padded around the boulder to her mentor, tears flowing from her eyes, though mostly unnoticable in the rain. "Dapplesnow, Dapplesnow, we need to go!" She shouted over the storm. What she had really wanted to ask was, What's going to happen? A tree branch fell to her right, nearly taking her tail. "Dapplesnow come on! We need to get these herbs to the Clan!"
