The Tabby shuffled forwards as his name was called, a confused expression plastered on his face. Why in the world was he getting another mentor? Did Midnightstalker dislike him? He jumped a little as his newer mentor came over and greeted him. Giving the other a quick smile Honeypaw stretched upwards to touch noses with Duskmoth. "um. Hello! uhm. I have er. Hold on just one second for me please." he requested, before turning on his heels to look at Twilightstar.

"Um. Sorry, Twilightstar? May I ask wh-" however he was quickly cut off as she continued to speak. His voice wasn't quite the loudest in the first place. With a worried expression he shuffled back to his mentor and sat himself down. Wondering if he would be allowed to go visit her in her den after everything.

Before he knew it everything went downhill. His fur fluffed up as talk of traitors buzzed around the clearing. Angry, loud words were exchanged. Before he knew it, cats were being killed. Honeypaw watched frozen, his paws gripping the ground beneath him, tearing his eyes away a few seconds too late. Breaths became ragged, than it felt as though he had to gulp air. Not quite getting enough, he began to breathe heavily.

It wasn't as if he hadn't seen dead felines before. That didn't mean it wasn't any less gut wretching, images of the Coyote attack came to mind as he saw the blood. Flashing teeth, Dawnsong and the kit. It all made his head buzz and heart pound. Everything kicked into fight or flight instinct and he couldn't move a single muscle. One cat exiled, two dead, and he was having so much trouble breathing it hurt. Tears pricking the corners of his eyes.
