He could hear the screams-- somehow the cat was still alive? And he didn't think twice about trying to dig through the burning rubble, hissing as fire singed and burned his paws. "Hang in there!" He called, coughing from the black plumes as he struggled to break through the flaming pile. This was hardly worth his efforts; he knew that. The chances of this cat surviving if they were pinned were minimal but ThunderClan had seen enough death tonight-- if he could prevent another, that'd alone would make it worth something.

Mossyflight stilled as Lionstar began to haul the debris off him. He was trembling to stay still and avoid making it more difficult to be freed.
