The sun shone brightly as Sparrowkit snuck out of the nursery. She had only been allowed to leave because she'd promised the queens to behave. Last time, a grumpy warrior had complained to them. This time, Sparrowkit was determined to explore camp without getting into any trouble.
Too busy being determined, the brown tabbykit walked straight into another cat. Surprised, she stumbled back and chirped,
"Sorry! Please, please, please don't tell on me! The queens are really mean when they're shouting." Sparrowkit paused for a second to look at the cat she had stumbled into. He was cream and white, with a cool looking mask around his eyes.
"Wait!" the kit chirped.
"You're Robinpaw, aren't you?" She looked up at him curiously, eyes twinkling in awe.
