Sparrowkit grinned up at Robinpaw. The kit had just met him, but she was already enjoying spending time with him. The masked apprentice was so cool! He was nothing like the boring queens or the mean elders that other kits liked so much.
"Let's go explore camp!" Sparrowkit chirped after listening to the older cat ramble. Going out into the territory sounded really exciting, but the brown and white kit didn't want to get into any more trouble. What was it like in the territory? Were there big, scary monsters? Did warriors and apprentices get to fight wolves and coyotes? Sparrowkit couldn't wait until she was an apprentice, but being friends with one was definitely the next best thing.
"You can show me around!" the kit said to Robinpaw.
"Ooh, are there any hidden places in camp that you know about?" If any cat knew about secrets, then it would be Robinpaw, right?
