spiderpaw declared, nearly tripping with eagerness as she agreed to ripplepaw's BEAUTIFUl, MARVELOUS plan. she hadn't realized she'd been talking to such an absolute genius! "crabfish!! yes, yes, and more yes! we'll catch tons of crabbyfins and put them all to such great use! you're so smart!" spiderpaw exclaimed, purposefully ignoring the fact that she had absolutely no idea how to catch any form of prey, let alone craycrabs! she could just.. sneakily have ripplepaw catch one first, copy ripplepaw's .. techniques, and then pretend she'd known how to catch carryfish all along! wow, maybe some of ripplepaw's brilliance was rubbing off on her -- that was such an intelligent idea, what could go wrong? nothing. absolutely notthiiinggg could go wrong.

"we're going to have such a great time! maybe not our denmates, but pffffttt. their fault that they're our denmates, right? sure, sure. c'mon, let's go!! crowflash catching time!" spiderpaw smiled, eager to begin their fun before she had to go off and actually do stuff.

This really was the best idea she'd had so far, wasn't it? Spiderpaw's equal excitement was causing her to grow even more excited. This was going to be one of the best days she'd had in a while, wasn't it? "Spidersomething sure is a mouthful." Ripplepaw giggled, shaking her head with a roll of her eyes. "I doubt Lionstar is that bland and boring." She didn't know the leader terrible well though.... maybe he was that bland and boring. That should be my next mission. Interview the Lionstar and see if he's a funguy or a boring trout. Yes, another idea for another day. Her coming days were just going to be full of fun, weren't they?
"Well I only come up with brilliant ideas, so of course it is!" Ripplepaw laughed in response, giving Spiderpaw a playful grin. She enjoyed the random mixups of names of the creatures, who really knew what they were called honestly? Ripplepaw could probably call them ripplefish and everyone else would go with it. That's just how obscure the idea of them were. She'd only heard about them existing because of passing conversations and a question posed to Lilytail. They sounded elusive, and that was just the think Ripplepaw needed to further her hunting skills. And of course, making it into a game and getting Spiderpaw to tag along was a huge bonus. Especially if it ended up with some screaming denmates and lots of laughter. "Let's go get these crawcrabs!" Ripplepaw announced, before turning and bounding towards the entrance. Though as she reached it, she stopped short, glancing over to Spiderpaw. "Don't we need a warrior? Or... do we not? I can never remember...?" A warrior going with them might spoil the fun... unless they found the right one. Or just didn't tell them of what they were planning to do after they caught the craycrabs.
