Littlewish gave an amused snort. It may not have been very pretty, but it expressed his point clearly enough.
"Hey, I always keep my promises, kiddo." He replied, flicking his tail in a casual manner. Besides, considering whether or not to keep calling him nicknames was easy enough. It could always be something as simple as Eagle, which he thought the young tom would be fine with. Eaglepaw was much too formal. Tensing his muscles as he readied himself for the race, he flexed his toes. The tallgrass made it hard to see his opponent, but that wouldn't matter. Taking off like a hare as Eaglepaw gave the signal, he hurtled towards the camp, coming neck-and-neck with the apprentice.
