A tall girl of about thirteen was slouched back against one of the polished walls of the labratory, arms crossed one over the other as she closed her remaining blue eye in a long, solemn blink. The screams and howls of a whacked-out Eliza rang like a churchbell throughout the room as a pair of guards chased frantically after her. Ah, good god, what a moron. Couldn't the dumb little girl just let the staff test her for a change? It wasn't as if they were aiming to actually hurt her.

After a few moments of trying to drain out the animal-like screams of the ten-year-old hybrid, Jenna at last decided she could no longer take it.

Blinking open her singular eye, Jenna gritted her jagged carnassials. "Eliza!" she hissed, lifting a neat hand to rip languidly at her fingernails. "Shut up for once and let them test you, would you?"
