Salmonsong wanted to make sure the apprentice’s weren’t raiding the nursery or elder’s den too so she had wiggled her way through the crowds to go check on them. She stepped out of the den, giving a sigh of relief unaware of Sleepypaw on the roof of the den waiting to pounce. Phew they aren’t attacking the kits or elders she thought preparing herself to go back into the fight.

Fennelheart had been trying to sleep through the raid by stuffing her ears in moss ignoring the drama but half wake stretched out her paws right in from of Hazelpaw, as if she was trying to trip up the apprentice.

With a start, Hazelpaw hopped instinctively into the air, a short, odd squeak of surprise surfacing from the teeny apprentice's lips. Taking a rather... er, shaky... step backward, she raked the den with a fearsome glare in an attempt to find whoever had made her look like a complete idiot. At last, she managed to make out through the dimness of the hut the physique of Fennelheart as the warrior extended a foreleg in a weary stretch. Ah, not her! Well, great, now Hazelpaw would have to prove her bravery by attacking an innocent warrior who clearly longed for nothing more than even the merest bit of sleep.

"Hey, Fennelheart!" Hazelpaw shrieked, hindlegs steadying back as she readied herself to propel toward the lounging warrior.
