Stagpaw nodded along with Old's words, the apprentice absorbing everything and anything. He needed a lot of knowledge to prove that he wasn't as dumb as everyone said he was. "Everything eats cats yes! Twiglight even tried to eat Mushy! And and and..," his voice dropped to a whisper for extra dramatic effect, "a rabbit even tried to eat ME!" He was still questioning that. Why would a rabbit want to eat him? He wasn't food was he? "I'm not... food am I?" he couldn't help but ask. Stagpaw hoped he wasn't food. It wouldn't be particularly nice to be food would it? Nope. "I smell! but I don't get upset if others tell me I smell!" Did he smell? Yeah. Yeah most likely. His adventure in Twiglight's den after the bee attack had left him smelling a lot of the leader but that was to be expected. He'd cuddled in her nest and gotten comfort from his ma, so it was normal! "I've missed you too! A lot! And I think Twiglight missed you too! But.. she got Mushy too, and she likes him! Or... tol-er-ates him I think she said? I forgot..."
