He paused. Words, need to be said carefully, he doesn't want to make things worse.
"The few times we've spoken, I've noticed you aren't..... that you don't seem very fond of me. I.... if I've done something somehow in the past, I would like to know so I could make amends, or try to."
He felt they could be friends, very good friends. If they could just stop having this stand off everytime they were anywhere near each other. Actually, Neetlespark didn't seem too put off by him right now.
Why was that? What has every other time they spoke had in common that wasn't here now? Stress, from trying to help Windclan and the general tension at Gatherings?
