Okay... so they were playing? Eelkit could do that! With that the kit nodded his, faking enthusiasm. He wasn't easy to get hyped up, but maybe this would be a circumstance of fake till you make it? If he faked enough... maybe it would eventually be true? He hoped so! So when Halfkit reached for his tail the kit decided to take matters into his own paw and the lack tom hopped forward with his head, hoping to use it to push against Halfkit's head, but before he was able to he went toppling over her paws as she'd moved to lie on her back. "Weeeeh," he couldn't help but squeal as he continued his roll. Standing up he flickered his tail. "COme catch me!" With that the tom took off aiming for the big dark den. Maybe Halfkit wouldn't be able to find him in there?

Halfkit squeaked happily and gave chase as Eelkit dashed away. She immediately wished she had longer legs because Eelkit, being older, had an advantage and was outrunning her.
Once she saw he was heading to one of the dens her mama said she wasn't allowed in, she skidded to a stop, her baby paw pads and toe beans scraping a bit.
She cried a bit at the pain and lifted a little paw upward to inspect it.
It was barely even bleeding!
