The pain in Heathernose’s chest wasn’t going away and she was beginning to think she might have cracked a rib- or maybe scratched one... was that a thing? The warrior sighed quietly so as not to alert Quiverpaw and stretched her neck, feeling her scabbing cuts beginning to stretch and crack but not caring. Quiv seemed more and more concerned about her and Heathernose smiled ruefully as she asked again if she was okay and nodded.

“I’m fine, Quiverpaw, you don’t have to worry about me. Now, we’re learning to hunt today, right?”

Quiverpaw continued to stare at Heathernose worriedly for a few more seconds before letting out a small sigh of defeat as the warrior once again assured her that she was fine. "Yeah, hunting." She meowed after a moment of thought. "Just don't push yourself too hard... okay?" The apprentice pushed her worry deep down, knowing it would only distract her from learning and then all of this would be a waste. She just really didn't want to be a reason that Heathernose hurt herself more or a reason that hindered the healing process, she would feel so guilty if it turned out like that. "I know a little bit already about hunting already, I just some reminders and adjustments... and practice."
