She was right and well, that was just how it was for now. Nothing could change that fact. Because it was a fact. So fluffing up her tail a bit further Pumapaw curled up further down into her nest, hoping that maybe, for once she could actually end up somewhat dry. Somewhat dry was better than completely soaked so that was like an improvement, although she couldn't help but wish there was a way that fur could just try quicker than soaking your own nest with the damned water. Yet when Lynx got into the question she'd previously asked Pumapaw couldn't help but let out a huff. "Should find that mentor and give him a smack up the head. If you're not training you'll never become a warrior. And being stuck as an apprentice forever would be very sad, at least in my opinion that is." Because it was! Imagine being stuck with Quickass for the rest of her life? that... she wasn't sure if she could survive that. Oh Lynxpaw was smarter, possibly smarter than her, but hey Puma was never going to admit that. "Seems like you had fun, I think. Maybe... if Quickass was nicer I would ask if you could tag along. We could probably beat him up in a fight together. Don't think he can withstand our shared power." Wait... she got to hunt bats? Pumapaw wanted to tag along! "Oh wow! that had to be fun! Could... you maybe teach me?" That was a big step for her to take, even requesting something. Wow. What had happened?

Lynxpaw tilted her head, letting out a small giggle. "A mutual agreement huh?" She echoed, tail-stub twitching. She didn't press further on the subject though, instead turning her gaze down to her paws, crossed neatly in front of her on her nest. "Welll.... I would, except I'm not the most confrontational cat. I would prefer him come to me and ask about training.... and I'm not going to go fight him because he's not training me.... that's not fair to him, because I've never reminded him." Lynxpaw's ears flattened and she looked at Pumapaw. "Does that make sense?" She knew she could be confusing sometimes.
Though at Pumapaw's sudden excitement about the bats, Lynxpaw glanced at her with wide eyes, before giving a small shrug. "I mean... yeah I guess I could." She meowed, ears flicking. "Be prepared to get a lot of bruises from falling though." Lynxpaw herself had had a bit of a hard time mastering the jump, she'd stumbled and fallen far more times than she'd succeeded in the bat catching.
