Default Re: ThunderClan Clearing

@Rainquail

Softbear charged through the clearing, dust and grass kicked up under his paws but he came to an almost crashing halt. He was a simple whisker away from squashing some poor apprentice flat like a pancake!

He inhaled, sniffing their scent and blinking down at the little lad. "Ah! Blasted skys I didnt even see ya there, Bloompaw," The words followed after a big gruff of laughter from the towering tom. "Whatda' doing, anyway?"

Sunbathing was nice, but social interaction was also nice. He enjoyed both. And right now, he would prefer some social interaction. So off he went to find some.
Spotting another cat within the clearing, who looked as if he was not doing anything, (good target for interaction, though he would've preferred someone who looked like they were busy) Larkblaze approached with a bright smile. "Gooood morning! Though that is also just depending on perspective really. My morning is good. Yours though, I cannot say." He flicked his tail, eyes narrowing slightly. "Maybe I could greet you with 'mediocre' morning, or 'nonchalant' morning, just so I can stand on a neutral ground, you know?"

@Romulus

Softbear had been sunbathing himself as well. His white fur was awful at absorbing the heat but the thickness did a good job at storing any he actually kept inside. Sometimes he felt like a lizard, warming up his aching body to try and just feel something. Sometimes the pain was manageable but other times...

His sombre thought was quickly caught off guard by the flamboyant cat that seemed to vomit out a bundle of words, none of them being absorbed by the giant warrior. Softbear blinked his amber-blue eyes behind the shaggy fringe, taking a moment to try embrace the spectacle that seemed to be his clan mate.

"You talk an' awful lotta' crap for someone that doesn't exactly have a lot to say," He teased, using a giant paw to shove the other Tom. "I'd say tis' ah good mornin', the world ain't burning and my fur isn't matted! The perfect day," He practically cooed like a kit who'd left their mothers nest for the first time. The world was at his paw tips for the taking! "Woulda been betta if it wasn't for this blasted pain," He half grumbled half whispered the last part. No need to complain about his aching joints to some stranger! Well, semi stranger.
