Honeytuft gasped in mock offense as Berrybreeze started to laugh,
"Excuse me, sir! This is an incredibly serious situation!" he chided, clicking his tongue as he narrowed his eyes at him. Now that the whole 'confession' part was over, he seemed to be going back to his normal self. That was good. Now, into the more unpredictable part. Was he going to become his best friends significant other? We're they just going to stay as friends? The last sentence that Berrybreeze said sent his mind spinning in circles. 'Because to me you're so much more'. That sentence repeated in his mind over and over, distracting him from what was happening in real life.
He was jolted out of his thoughts as he felt Berrybreeze bump against his shoulder, and once again he looked back up at the tortoiseshell tom. The awaited response made him visibly relax, a large, giddy smile growing on his maw. A loud purr sounded from him, and he buried his muzzle into the fur on Berrybreezes shoulder in a weird sort of embrace. He was unbelievably happy, more than he ever thought he would be.
"It does. It counts to me. I'm just...I'm So relieved"
