[Slinky]

It was a crisp morning and the forest was alive with prey; Spiritedleap thought this would be the best time to start a hunting training with her new apprentice. Peeking her white and black speckled face in the apprentice den, she scanned the nests for her apprentice. At first, her gentle green eyes fell to her own kit who was sleeping soundly in a nest. She wanted to go over and give him a good cuddle, but she reminded herself that this was not the time. Her gentle gaze continued it's movements before it fell to Acornkit. Her maul curled happily and she pushed into the den with quiet pawsteps. Coming to the young one, she lapped at Acorn's head gently, an affectionate wake-up. She was a very motherly presence. A whisper slipped from her maul, "Sweet one... Wake up."
