Swankit held his breath just to look bigger and hopefully intimidating, but Loonkit's swipe had him spitting out the extra air. He bristled immediately at their jibe. Loonkit's little smirk annoyed his paws off! Why couldn't they react to what HE said for once, growl maybe, or just feel as small as they were for five seconds!? Loon's next swat had Swankit glowering.

"I- I do actually win!" Swan didn't mean for his voice to jump an octave when he said that-- some cat might think he was being defensive, but not true, nuh uh. Loonkit wasn't better!

They just got lucky.

What was there to be defensive about? He wanted to repeat the bit about rules, but Swan knew how much Loonkit cared about them [not at all.] Actually... that was a good point to bring up, wasn't it? Yeah. Swankit sneered down at Loon, showcasing tiny little pinprick fangs on one side of his mouth.

"You only win because you cheat. You're as bad as a shadowcat!" Swan didn't actually know what that meant, he was just repeating it from someone else. It felt cool to use warrior phrases, and he assumed Loonkit wouldn't get it either. They're not half as mature as me, Swan thought, sticking his tongue out at them for good measure.
