Chris knew that if he used his gun he would shoot the commander as well. He jumped in front of Beck and tripped him with his staff. "The first time you work with your soldiers?" Chris asked the commander.He looked at the Renegade. "Should we derezz him? Or keep him as a pet?"

"Well, what Tesler would have us do is to bring him to CLU in chains," Pavel shrugged. "Although I would prefer to throw him into the Games. Or even take him back to my little... research facility. Run some tests, perhaps; see what makes him so much stronger than your average program, see how much damage he can take before derezzing. That sort of thing." He grinned menacingly at the white-suited program before him.
