Jaran followed after Mara, with Zed's help. He put a hand over the marking on his left arm, he'd do as Mara said. She was the safest thing for now, at least, he assumed so.

"You can head back down; I'll take care of him," Mara reassured her friend.

"Alright, but we could use your help down there," he muttered, still uncomfortable with the fact his best friend and some random program (a male program, no less) were being left unsupervised for who-knew-how long. He left the room, reluctantly.

"So... what's wrong? Obviously there's something up with your leg," Mara observed, holding her hand out to take his disc for examination.
