Re: WindClan Leader's Den
He looked like a great ball of sunshine, she expected this much enthusiasm out of kits, not Creekdash. It was a tad bit strange yet not unwelcome. Her face gave little of her expression away, both ears were erected and pointed in his direction.
She listened silently for most of the time, absorbing what he was telling her. This was not the first time she's heard someone speaking about how the cats mostly kept to themselves here. It sounded like Creekdash wanted a little get together for the clan to strengthen bonds. Twilightstar didn't think she could mentally or emotionally deal with that right now, but she was all for the clan's happiness and fun, they could use it.
"That sounds like a wonderful idea." A soft trill mixed with the geinue delight in her voice. "I'm sure the kits will love it and the older cats could do with more mingling. Unfourntataly, my head's not quite in the right mindspace for such a task. Since it was your idea, how you like to take charge of it?"

He wasn't going away, was he? Nope. Twilightstar really would be fine with some time. She always was. Time healed everything, or at least most things. The leader went back to shutting her eyes as the tom retreated and returned seconds later, dropping a very nice proportioned hare at her paws. He probably went out and caught it himself, it seemed like a Mushy thing.
It wasn't weird, but she wasn't hungry, it was not something overly concerning. When she went through fits of emotions, her stomach went through them as well. This was most likely going to come up later, yet she couldn't bring herself not to eat at least a bit especially if he really did go through the trouble of catching it. She could drop it off at for the queens and kits later.
"Thank you." She muttered lightly while picking at the hare. She focused on the task of chewing the bland meat and swallowing while Mushy carried on. He really wasn't going to go away.
"We're not going to do anything about ShadowClan until I meet this new leader myself." She mewed after swallowing another chunk of the hare. Her stomach churned and grumbled underneath in disagreement, resulting in her nudging the hare away. "I don't like rushing into things blindly, we only have the word of an ex-shadowclanner to go on and I liked to take with a grain of salt." She's heard no news on Echopaw at the moment and nothing from Croakingtoad since she's dropped him off at the medicine cat's den.
"The weather is terrible, and you should be feeding the plumper rabbits to the clan, not me. If I say no about the hare story, you're going to tell me it anyway." She wasn't growling, hissing, or spatting, yet there was this edge in her tone that refused to please Mushy.
