Amber got up, and ran behind Mara. She was scared. She hung onto Mara.

Zed looked at his disc in shock.

"Did I do that?" he said, dumbfoundedly.

"Zed..." Mara breathed. "That was..."

"Stupid?"

"Incredible!" She jumped up and threw her arms around him, then glanced down at the unconscious commander on the floor. "I'm so proud of you." It only lasted a second, but she gave him a peck on the cheek. As a response, all of Zed's lightlines turned purple. "Hey, are you alright, Amber?" Mara asked the other girl, unhanding the violet-glowing program standing awkwardly next to her.
